With your generous donations, Kat’z can continue to provide much-needed support at Lifewise Merge Cafe

Last Christmas, Kat’z shared with you the story of her life on the streets. When you saw how things changed when she found Lifewise, you responded with such amazing generosity.

Kat’z, who is one of many Merge Community Peer Support Volunteers, found awhi and opportunity at Lifewise Merge Cafe. Every day, she meets others who are experiencing homelessness to support them to turn their lives around, just like she did. But these life-changing events would be impossible without the support of generous donors. By donating to Lifewise, you are passing on a healthier, more just society to future generations of New Zealanders.

Merge Cafe is just one of many services Lifewise provides. What does Kat’z’s team do?

Peer Support is only one part of the amazing mahi of the Merge Community team

Besides supporting people who are experiencing homelessness, the Merge Community Team also builds connections with the wider community. For example, those who may not know what it’s like to be homeless. In the picture below, the Team is leading an Urban Hikoi for employees of accounting firm Grant Thornton.
