Join the movement for change at Federal Square aka St Patricks Square, Auckland CBD – Friday 10 October

Every New Zealander deserves a safe place to call home. This World Homeless Day, we’re coming together at Federal Square, Auckland CBD, to stand with our street whānau, honour their resilience, and amplify the urgent call for collective action. You’re invited to join us and share in a powerful day of community, creativity, and hope.

Why World Homeless Day Matters

Homelessness is a growing challenge across Aotearoa. Right now, more than 2% of New Zealanders are without a home, and visible homelessness in Auckland has surged by 53% in just four months. Every statistic tells a story—of women and wāhine Māori facing unsafe conditions, of families on the edge, and of individuals enduring hardship with courage. We need your support to shine a light on the realities, and the solutions, that matter most.
